Cold weather is seasonal. Fortunately, construction work is not… or at least it shouldn’t be seasonal.  Contractors working in cold climates however, soon realize that their primary means of income can come to a grinding hault unless they’re prepared to battle the cold white stuff and freezing temperatures.

New compounds and polymers are being utilized in the  development of products that are making construction work possible… even at temperatures far below zero.  Powerblanket, LLC has developed such a product with their patented heat spreading technology called “GreenHeat”, used for thawing frozen ground, curing concrete is freezing weather, and heating equipment and motors.  Powerblanket is a light weight heater that is easy to fold, transport, and operate and can produce adequate heat to warm, melt, insulate, and protect all winter long.  Key features include UL/CSA classification, weatherproof design, lightweight & portable, insulated, UV vinyl, & “Green” energy saving construction.
